Does iPhone 5 play 1920 x 1080 HD videos?

I mean like full HD Blu ray version Mp4 file? And m4v

By turning Home sharing on, you can have iPhone 5 play movies up to 1920x1080 full HD from your computer hard drive.

[How to] Use iPhone 5 to watch your Blu-ray 1080p movies from computer

1. Install Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper on your computer.

2. Insert Blu-ray Disc to BD-ROM. If you computer has no BD drive equipped, use an external one via USB connection.

3. Run the Blu-ray Ripper. Follow "File>> Load from disc…" to import Blu-ray movie to the software. Keep your computer networked- so that the software can handle BD+ protections properly.

4. Select the main movie from file list. Set desired audio and subtitles language.

5. Select iPhone 5 format template from the drop-down profile list of "Format" bar.

6. Press the big Convert button to start copying & converting Blu-ray to your computer hard drive.

7. Wait till conversion completes. Then Open iTunes on your computer, choose "File - > Add File to Library…" to add the converted Blu-ray movie to iTunes movie library.

8.In your iTunes, follow SHARED-> Home Sharing to enable live streaming of video, music and photos.

9. Connect iPhone 5 to your home network. On your iPhone, go to Settings-> iPod to turn on Home Sharing.

10.To have iPhone play the ripped Blu-ray movie, just open up iPod app on your iPhone and hit more tab. Then you can see the shared Blu-ray movie. Press on the movie to start sharing streaming movies to iPhone 5.

  • Why won't songs play good on my iPhone 5 but play normal on iTunes? When I download music and import it to iTunes, They play fine and normal but as soon as i put them on my iPhone they sound scratchy or like if they were getting fast forwarded.
