Does T-Mobile support unlocked iPhone 4s?
My carrier is T-Mobile. I'd really like to purchase an iPhone 4S, though. I've even considered terminating my contract with T-Mobile due to their stubbornness to carry iPhones in their product lines (which I think is detrimental to their market share).
My question is, does T-Mobile USA support unlocked iPhone 4S phones? If I bought an iPhone 4S, would I be able to text, call, and browse the internet on it like I could with, say, Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint?
I'd also like to know, if I can use an unlocked iPhone 4S with T-Mobile, would I be able to use my unlimited data plan/wireless hotspot plan (under T-Mobile) on my iPhone 4S?
What are the setbacks of unlocking an iPhone with T-Mobile?
Any answers are appreciated.
Its not stubborness, they can't afford to carry the iphone.
you can use an iphone on tmobile but you will only get edge 2g, no 3g, 4g.
The other answer is false, you can definitely get 3G speeds with the iPhone 4 or 4S on T-Mobile. They are starting to re-frame towers in order to achieve this.
- Would the T-Mobile Contract Free iPhone 6 support Indian mobile carriers? I'm on a vacation in USA and I'm thinking of buying the T-Mobile Contract free iPhone 6, just wanted to know whether I would be able to use it with my local i.e. Indian mobile-carriers?
- Will there be a iPhone software update coming for T-Mobile carrier support? Just wondering if an update will be released for iPhones, and will have something to do with T-Mobile, since iPhones come to T-Mobile today. Thanks What is the name of the update?
- Will any Ireland Mobile Networks support L. T. E (4G) or iPhone 5? The question pretty much says it all. Does anyone know if any Irish networks (I know Vodafone and O2 are not) supporting LTE:4G data? Specifically for the iPhone 5. Leave the fanboy troll comments at the door, a simple yes/no specifics are what I'm after.
- If I Buy A Factory Unlocked/GSM Unlocked Iphone 5, Can I Use It With T-mobile? I'm not exactly sure what factory unlocked or GSM unlocked mean, but I just want to know If I can use the phone with T-mobile or if I'd have to switch carriers.
