Does the iPhone 5 come unlocked from Verizon so I can put in a different SIM card?
I'm going to study abroad in Germany for a few months and want to make sure I can use my iPhone 5 from Verizon with a different phone company over there by just using a different SIM card. Can the iPhone 5 be used with any carrier via the SIM card?
Yea actually it does but not for the same Verizon phone number you use in the states. It can't be used with any just any sim carrier. It has to be one compatible for the iPhone 5.
- Will an unlocked iphone 3g work with Verizon if i put in an AT&T sim card? I got a friend's iPhone 3G, it was originally AT&T but i unlocked it, can i use the AT&T sim card that was originally in it and have it work for verizon?

I've purchased the BYOP kit from walmart and I know I need to use the nano sim but IIm not sure if I should use the at&t compatible SIM card or the T mobile? Or does it not matter? - If I put my iPhone's SIM card into a different iPhone, will it work? I have an iPhone 4 and the vibrate stopped working. My dad just bought an iPhone 4 and it has no SIM card yet or anything. It's just at the factory settings. Can I put my SIM card into that phone? Will I have all of the same contacts and things? Will it still work? Then can I give my dad my iPhone and he can buy a SIM card and set up his plan on that phone?
