Dropped iPhone 4S in the toilet?

I dropped my iPhone 4S in the toilet and everything is working perfectly but the sound. The sound was working good after but after I plugged it inside a music doc it stopped working and it won't let me adjust the volume. The Siri noise is working and alarm. Just my music isn't and youtube.

Turn your phone off and submerge in a bowl of rice for 24 hours, the rice should soak up the remaining water. Not going to ask why you dropped it in the toilet, lol.

Sounds like the iPhone still thinks it's docked. You might be able to simply plug it into the computer and it might fix itself. However the problem may reoccur if you plug it into the dock again. If that doesn't work, give it some time to see if it frees itself.

When you drop your phone into water, you should NEVER turn on your phone. Your battery is more then likely burnt. My sister dropped her phone into water and removed it right away. She then placed it under a dryer and after she turned on her phone. It turned on and seemed to work normal but after a bit her iphone went blank. It turned off and would not turn on again. You can get the battery replaced if you did burn the battery. If you was lucky enough to have not burnt battery, your phone may still have water in it. Best turn it off still and let the water dry inside the phone.

As for the sound. Might need to restore your phone through iTunes.

What you should do if you drop your phone into water…

1. Turn off your phone (DO NOT TURN ON)
2. Place uncooked rice in a seal bag, enough to fully cover phone.
3. Seal bag and leave phone in seal bag for 7 days.
4. Take out phone and remove rice grains from earphone holes, charger hole.
5. Fingers crossed!

The rice should dry up and absorb the water in and on the phone.
