Dropped my iphone 4 in the toilet?
Added (1). So I dropped my Iphone 4 in the toilet, I did the obvious thing and put it in a bag of rice for a while, but it refuses to turn on. I've held down the power button, but no luck. I don't know if I should see if I could take it apart, you know see if I can find a broken piece or something. Any ideas?
Separate all the parts of the phone and cover them all completely in a container of Rice. Rice absorbs all the moisture out. Hopefully there isn't lot of water damage and your phone works fine. And sanitise it once its in working condition.
If it doesn't start up then you need to get it repaired.
You might need to get a replacement Logic Board for your iPhone 4. But considering the phone is probably worth less than the replacement at this point, and that Apple will drop support for the 4 in September, you're probably better off getting either the new 5S or if you don't have money to spend, just get the 4S which is good for another year.
