Dropped my iPhone 6 in sink but still works?
I dropped my iphone 6 in a sink with barely any water in it. I grabbed it immediately and dried it off with a rag. It works completely fine and even sounds work and it still charges right. The only problem is. It says "accessory may not be supported" when I take it off the charger? I turned my phone off for the time being, what should I do?
Try drying it out properly before going any further. Turn it off and stick it in a bag of dry rice overnight. Might also want to do the same to the charger as some water may have transferred. Fingers crossed.
Get Android, noob…
Don't make it work
- Just dropped my iphone 4 in the sink? I got it out very quickly but it turned it self off. I've not tried to turn it back on yet, i've just put it in a bag of rice and put it on the radiator. Has anyone had the same problem? And do you have any suggestions please?
- Just dropped iPhone in sink full of water I quickly pulled it out and it's working now… But I know there's water in it! What do I do!
- I dropped my iphone on the ground in the rain and it still works, should I still put it in rice? It's been thundering the past week and I dropped my phone on my driveway. It was there for no more than five minutes and it works fine, I had it in rice for ten minutes (doubt it did any good lol) should I keep it in the rice if it works fine?
- I dropped my iPhone in the sink? I dropped my iPhone in the sink while i was washing dishes, but i picked it back up and dried it. When i played the movie i was watching again, there was no sound. The only sound that was coming out is when i talk on the phone or when the alarm goes off. Can someone help me!
