Erase and reset Iphone 4 without password?
Alright, i haven't used my iphone is a little over 2 years (I switched to an Android) So naturally i forgot my password and the email that the phone is attached to for iCloud is no longer accessible.
I would like to give my iPhone to my grandmother, but every time i go to reset it, it asks for a password. (It is extremely annoying.)
So who has a brilliant idea on how i can reset my iPhone without a working email and without a password?
You should head to the Apple Store for assistance, or you could hook it up to a mac and reset it from the computer
It's not possible, that's part of the basic "anti theft" system to make stolen phones worthless.
The login info you need is for the app store account that you set up on the phone - that will still be stored with Apple, even if the actual email does not exist.
