Evasion 6.1 Jailbreak = Carrier Unlock?
I was super hyped about the recent jailbreak arrival since I figured it would let me unlock my iPhone, once in for all!
Is this is the case? Here's my set up:
iPhone 4S with Verizion 14.0
Model Firmware: 3.4.01
iOS: 6.1
You can't unlock a 4S by simply jailbreaking.
In any case if you're living in the USA you'd be breaking the law now by unlocking it.
- Unlocking an iPhone with Cydia or Evasion? I'm now jailbreaking my iPhone 4S and I do not know if I can unlock my iPhone by using Cydia or if there's a part which asks you on the Evasion software if you can?
- Is there any way with cydia or jailbreak i could unlock iPhone carrier? Please help I've tried everything and nothing seems to work illuminate my mind and help me find a solution. I really want to use this iPhone and its gathering dust in my drawer since its on a different carrier. Please Help! Thanks in advance. Any portion of information is welcomed.
