Export projects from Lapse It?

I have made a timelapse using the iPhone app 'Lapse It'.
I've filmed the project in 1080P, but when i render the film the quality is reduced, and it looks very grainy!
Can anyone explain why?
And is it possible to export the raw footage onto my computer without rendering it through the app?

You recorded it with an iPhone. Tiny sensor=grainy image.

No, because when I look at the film (before rendering) it looks great. There's a clear difference between the first part of the rendered version and the last part. Is this because I'm out of storage?

No, storage has nothing to do with grainy. If you have a before rendering video, just export that. It seems that what the Lapse It app makes is grainy. This may be a misunderstanding on your part. Time lapse photography is a series of stills, not video. So you would combine the series of stills into a time lapse movie as opposed to rendering a video.

  • Why is iMovie taking FOREVER to export a five minute video? Please, I really really really need an answer As soon as possible of how to fix this or how long it's going to take. I'm trying to export a five and a half minute long video to youtube from my iphone 5 and it's taking so long. How long do you expect it to take on a medium file size?
  • Is time lapse only available for the iPhone 5S? Or is it also for the (discontinued) iPhone 5? There are many videos around the web about time lapse in iOS 8, but they only seem to be showcasing the 5S, I want to know if it will be for the 5 too.
