Good Camera or Good Computer?

I'm having a tough time deciding here. I make YouTube videos online and I'm getting in to some photography. Here is my main problem. I can either buy a new camera and be able to record amazing video but edit it on a decent computer, or I can wait a little bit, buy a new editing pc I have been meaning to get, but only be able to record videos from an iPhone. So I guess the real question is "Is it better to have a blazing computer and decent videos or a decent computer and beautiful video?"

For right now a computer has much more uses and might be better than later find yourself a good camera

Your best bet is to have a decent camera to record videos, if this is your main interest. So I would opt for a nice camcorder designed for movies, not a "do it all" type camera which primarily deigned for snapshots.

I don't quite understand the problem.

For under $1000 you can buy a computer with an Intal i7 CPU, 8 gb of RAM, a 1 tb hard drive and a 32 bg SSD drive. All you have to do is buy an inexpensive video editor.

A great video camera for shooting Youtube videos cost less than $200. I use a JVC Full HD video camera that has a 40x optical zoom.

Why is it you can only buy one of them?
