Have accidentally deleted everything from my Iphone 5?

I have a brand new iphone 5, just delivered to me - insurance company paid out for my old one as it had got water damaged.

I have spent ages restoring the new one so that it has everything on it that i had on my previous iphone and it was working wonderfully…

I logged onto the find my iphone app and can still see my iphone (offline) however, this was going to be destroyed by my insurance company, so i decided to erase the phone so that no details of mine would be on there as i have banking details everything you can think off on it.

I selected the erase your iphone - button pressed - seemed fine

THEN…

My current iphone, went black the apple sign came up and now it wnt turn on - its deleted my new iphone!

Its deleted everything as the phone won't even turn on now - how in gods name do i rectify this as i can't claim on the insurance again as i hadn't even given them any new details!

Try just syncing your iPhone to the iTunes that you used last to sync you phone last with before this crash happened. And with the not turning on part just leave your phone on until it runs out of battery then try starting it again. Or try putting it into DFU mode it should work. It has too.use this video top guide you through the steps needed to put it into this mode and it will make your phone turn on and then just sync it to your iTunes and all your stuff will be there. I really hope you found this helpful. Good luck and all the best. And remember if all fails just go to an electrical store like future shop or something.
