How to track a lost iPhone?
So last night I was at a party and the cops came so we had to run into the woods. I was highly intoxicated, and I'm pretty sure I dropped my phone somewhere in the woods. I realized this morning and the more I've looked into it, the more I realize how dumb I really I'm. I don't have Find my iPhone set up or any apps whatsoever that could help track or find my phone. I do have a password on the phone, but I sent a text to myself in case someone found it and plugged it in saying that if they find it they should call my house phone. Is there any online site I could use to somehow track my phone, or an app I could use from my iPad to track it with it being already lost?
Added (1). I already tried setting up Find my iPhone after losing it and it won't work
I think you can still use find my iphone to find it even if it isn't set up on the phone. Just try to use find my iphone on your ipad to track it. Not sure if it will work but it's worth a shot.
Take another phone with you into the woods and when you get to the area start calling your phone. Maybe you can hear it.
Call the service to track it.
- Lost my iPhone, can I track it? Is there any way to track it? It's an iPhone5 and I tried calling back from a different phone number it rings once and then it was going straight to voicemail. After hrs of calling and the same thing happening I called and now it goes straight to voicemail. I'm not sure if I misplaced it at home or I simply lost it running errands.

- Lost iPhone. Can't track it My buddy lost his iPhone 5 (but it may have been stolen). He has the "find my iPhone" app as well as the "find friends" app. The problem is he didn't register the "find my iPhone" and he has the find friends app turned to "hide me" mode. Is there any other way to track down his phone? He could lose his job over this… Can he activate any of these apps through iCloud? Any solutions would help.
