Help iPhone dropped in toilet?
I accidentally dropped my iPhone 5 in the toilet (the toilet was clean) and took it out after a few seconds and dried it and now the touchscreen isn't responding! I couldn't even shut it down as the slide to shut down was only sliding a tiny bit. I have shut it down via hard shutdown (pressing on and home button together). It just won't work help! It's in a bowl of rice submerged atm
1. Switch it of to prevent short-circuits
2. Take out the sim
3. Try opening the back with those iPhone screws
4. Keep it vertical so that the charging input is towards the ground so that any water droplet escapes
5. Switch it on after like 4-5 hours

keep it in a bag filled with rice so that, rice draws the moisture out
It is doubtful that your phone will survive, sadly you must learn to be more careful with your next phone.
