Help My iPhone 4 is stuck with the USB icon pointing towards iTunes?
I'm using a dell laptop and before I tried to update my iPhone to the newest update, my iPhone would appear in the devices part of my computer. I updated my phone, but when my phone resets, it comes up with an error and now my phone is stuck on the USB pointing to iTunes and won't even show up in my devices page. This is extremely annoying because my 4th gen iPod shows up, but my iPhone doesn't. Does anyone have a solution that can be fixed As soon as possible before tomorrow morning? I've already tried to do everything that Apple's forums said do, holding the power and home button etc, and it doesn't work. Hopefully someone can help with this annoying problem.
Try downloading iTunes 10.7 and then perform a restore. If you upgraded to ios 6, you'll need it.
Just remove the cable and switch off the mobile and connect it again. The icon will still be shown and you will receive an option to restore in iphone. Just press restore.
Since you already did the hard reboot… Your only option left is to call Apple. 1800-myiphone.
