I was wondering what I shorted out on my iPhone 4S?

So I had some stuff stuck in my headphone jack (lint) causing the headphones to cut in and out so I decided the best thing to do was to put hot glue inside of it and yank it out quickly and get it all out but… No as of course you are probably shaking your head, it didn't work and the hole was filled to the brim with hard glue. I took a needle and started trying to pick it out since the glue was so hard I couldn t tell what was glue and what was metal so I tried pushing the needle down far to get under the glue, in doing so the phone shut off. But safely turning on afterwards. It worked fine as well, so I figured that id keep going, well I did and it cut out again and I turned it on again then tried one last time, this time a puff of horrible smelling smoke came out of the jack when I pushed it down. The smell filled my nose and made me cough. I tried turning on the phone and well it did, it stayed on for 30 minutes and then randomly shut off, so I turned it on again, 20 minutes later. Same thing. 10 minutes it shut off, then 5, then 20 seconds till all it was doing was booting up the apple logo for 7 seconds or so then shutting off, then turning back on again. I left it charging over night and it **** off for good and didn't turn on for days. Till a week later It turned on doing the apple logo then shutting off, it will only do this when connected to power, my power/sleep button is broken and imwonderingwhatIhit that made the puff of smoke come out I bought a kit to open it.

Oh by the way I also poured in alcohol into the jack to remove the glue, it didn't work lol. I know how stupid this was and I definitely learned my lesson. Also after pouring in the alcohol the screen of course had stains on it from it but I dried it all out and you can't tell that there was anything in it but I noticed that right on the iPhone where the headphone jack is, it was extremely hot at the time so my guess is that with all of this heat and liquid that I ended up melting the Sauder that's in there and made of the wires loose in there from the connection causing this. So I ordered a tool kit to open this iphone and see if that's what I did but if I didn't I wanna know from you guys what I hit and what need to be replaced so I can use it again.

Electronics run on magic smoke. If you let it out, the device stops working.
