Well, after replacing it, it was searching for service, and then would say "No Service". I went through a few things, such as resetting the phone and resetting the network.
The only place I can get any service with it now is outside of my home, and even then it will tell me that my data service is not activated (which I'm assuming is my service provider).
Would restoring my iPhone via iTunes work or is there another way I should be going about fixing the problem? Thanks!
Update 2: OH, and I also have virgin mobile as my wireless provider. I'm not sure if that makes any difference or not though.
It would appear that when you got your screen replaced, the person managed to damage your antenna so resetting/restoring stuff will do nothing.
If you got it replaced by Apple, you could send them a complaint and send it back for a replacement.
If you got it replaced it by a third party i guess you could do the same but i doubt theyll give you a replacement but it doesn't hurt (maybe) to try
- Will a tempered glass screen protector prevent screen from cracking? What does a tempered glass screen protector do really? Their being sold on ebay and I need something that will help preventing my iphone 5s from cracking besides a case.
- Why does the FBI have such a hard time cracking iPhone encryption. Why don't they just use the spy agencie's methods of using spyware? All you need is their phone number, and a cheap piece of software and you have access to everything on the phone (including deleted info) Why make a huge scene about it, when there are much easier ways to bypass lock screen encryption? You don't even need access to the phone, it can remotely install with just one phone call to the number too… Just saying, if the FBI really wanted in, it would be very easy
- When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.
- What is the best iphone screen protectors to keep phone from cracking/shattering? I'm making the switch to an iphone 5 soon, and I'm wondering what the best type of screen protector is. I'm accident prone, and drop my phone quite often. I'm not interested in an Otterbox or anything that is bulky. Which screen protector will keep my screen from cracking? Also, when it comes to buying a case, what type of material would offer the most extra protection? (gel, silicone, rubber, etc.)
