& I was wondering if the repairs are still covered by warranty?
Yes! If you paid d difference.
Unless you paid for an additional carrier-provided warranty, the warranty and carrier contract are unrelated as it pertains to a broken phone.
Assuming you are still within the phone warranty period, it should still be covered, regardless of your contract.
Since your phone is not on contract no more the cell phone carrier you had will not cover for repairs no more.unless you have apple 1 year manufacture warranty (if that 1 year is up then I recommend getting apple care)
