Home button jammed.iPhone 4?
Voice control won't stop turning on and the button is pressing itself it's driving me nuts! Is there a way I can stop the button from working completely or disable coice control!
There may be some dust under the button. Try dryer (without heat). This may help you.
You can always turn on assistive touch in the settings. It should be under accessibility in General. It is for peoples who iPhone's buttons don't work. It put a home button on the screen. As for the voice control, you may be able to do it under "restrictions".
That's a glitch known by apple they don't tell users about until it happens. My husbands iPhone had the same issue so we took it to apple to repair. That's when we found out that apple knows about it they told us and replaced the phone as they can't fix it easily.
Take your phone to apple they will replace it free of charge and transfer your data etc.
- Lock button on my iPhone 4 is Jammed? The other day I noticed it, it is still working but I have to press down really really hard for it to lock. I didn't spill anything sticky on it or anything and I took a toothpick and tried to undo it. But no luck. What do I do?
