How come my iPhone doesn't tell me when I have a text message
So I have an iPhone 4S and whenever I get a text message it rings or vibrates but recently when I get a text message my phone doesn't tell me. The only way I know is I have to go to my messages and check if that makes sense. If someone texts me my iPhone won't tell me or anything I have to go to messages. I don't get why? It was working fine like half an hour ago and then all of a sudden it does this. Can anyone help?
Try going into settings > notifications > messages > notification centre: on + banners
- Will the iPhone 5 tell you if your text message was delivered? I'm not sure if other cellphone companies have it but Verizon shows a check mark if the text message is delivered to another Verizon user. I was wondering if anyone knew about it? Maybe not because it's not released 'till September 21st? I like to know if the person actually got my text.
- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
- Why could i have gotten a text message with no text box? Yesterday morning, I looked at my smart phone ( android) and I got a text from someone. I clicked on the contact's text and there was no message, no blank bubble, nothing. It just looked like one of us was getting ready to start a conversation but no message was sent. (Extra info: I may be wrong but I think this certain contact has an iphone.) What could cause this? I don't want to ask the person because it would be extremely awkward.
- Iphone Text Privacy: make a text come up but not include the message? A friend of mine has her Iphone set to when a text comes up on her lockscreen, it says the contact but it just says "imessage" where the text should be. It's like: Shelly Imessage Any idea how I set that up? She said someone did it for her and had no idea how to do it.
