IPhones don't go missing at 35k feet over a large body of water.
For one, cell phones are tracked by cell phone towers and I honestly doubt that Sprint and AT&T are building cell phone towers in the oceans when they're busy cutting back data allowances and jacking up prices.
You are not taking into account the fact that
if there's no trackable signal being transmitted from the lost object,
there's no way to find it without physically looking for it.

My photos stopped showing up in my camera roll 2 weeks ago and I had the same amount of pictures but it took up only 6 GB. I took a lot of pictures them checked to see how much space they took up and it said 7.45 GB. I came to the conclusion that my phones saving them I just don't have access to them. Where'd they go? Why can't I access them?
- I'm missing a couple of playlists from my iPhone, but they are still in iTunes? Recently I added some new music to itunes. I added these songs to my playlist on itunes, but then the playlists i added them to disappeared from my iphone. I tried syncing my phone with my computer, but that didn't work. The songs are still on both my iphone and itunes. The playlists are still in itunes. But they are not on my iphone. These are playlists I use the most and would appreciate any help in getting them back!
