How is the camera quality on the iPhone 5c?

Do you know how big the sensor is (not the MP count, which is 8, but the actual size)? Is it as big as the ones in your average compact camera or smaller?

It depends on what you want to do with the images… If you want to print your shots i'd always go with a dedicated camera over any smartphone…

The image sensor on the iPhone 5 is a tiny 1/3.2 inch image sensor measuring 3.54 x 3.42mm that means it's smaller than sensors found in compact cameras…

It's well known world wide that phone cameras, if you can call them cameras, are pure junk. The makers will tell you that they're good… In reality, they're not good. If all you want is snaps with your friends a phone will probably be fine. If you're serious about photography then it'll be pure junk.
