How long can an iPhone keep its charge?

I have an iPhone 4s and tomorrow I'm going a road trip with my parents and I'm expecting it to take about 4 hours. I wanna watch netflix on the way there and on the way I'll probably send a few texts. Can my iPhone run for 4 hours on Verizon 3G? If it can't then I guess ill bring my MacBook and charge it on the way up.

Bring a charger just in case, but it should last.

Yes it could do it but you gonna have to use earphone and put the display level on low and the network pishing 3g take up about 23 percent and netflix 60 percent. So maybe if netflix buffer once in a while.

The 4S was made to let it's battery last longer but to ensure that you keep yourself entertained for four hours you should bring your macbook along just in case.

Until as you tuput it iont he washinger and geti t all bept and it wbreakks to bpiecedessl.

If you're watching movies I estimate your iPhone will last around 3-4 hours. Tips to save power if you find you're running low on battery and need to conserve it. Close the apps (not simply minimise) when you aren't using them by double tapping the home screen, holding it and hitting the minus at the top right corner. Also, keep a relatively low brightness, it's the major drainer of power. And if you do need to charge it, see if you or your parents have a car charger which plugs into the cigarette lighter (if your car has one). Have fun.

I would say less than 4 hours, the reason for that is because when i'm playing blood brothers on my wife's 4s. It barely lasts 4-5 hours. And its an online only game, so its constantly communicating with its servers. But imagine streaming movies constantly over 4 hours, thats going to run it down much much faster.

My iPhone will keep it's charge for 19-20 hours from fully charged

Set Mail to Sync Less Frequently:
- Go to Settings
- Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Go to Fetch New Data
* Turn off Push
- Select it to Fetch every hour
* you'll still be notified before the hour but it will be consuming less battery this way than having the mail sent straight to your phone as soon as it's received by your email provider*

Turn off GPS:
- Go to Settings
-Go to Privacy
- Go to Location Services, turn it off

I enjoy this site for just about any movies or perhaps TV shows that way. It has just about everything. Test it and let us know

  • Tell if its something wrong with iphone battery or its software bug? I'm noticing significant droppage in battery percent on idle condition at night, but when i do browsing, gaming, video recording it drains normal, why idle condition is consuming more battery than using?
  • My iPhone says its up to date but its not? I have the iPhone 4s and every time I go into settings-general-software update, it says my software is up to date with iOS 6.1.3! All my friends have gotten iOS 7 already! Why doesn't mine say I need to update to iOS 7! And how can I make it say that? And I know that the iPhone 4s can get it.
  • My iphone 5 won't download all its music onto our new computer its windows 8 lenovo? Ok so everytime i plug my phone into my new computer itunes comes up but it won't sync my stuff at all. All that comes up is go to itunes store or something else i forgot but when i click on the other thing nothing happens and i need my music and phone to sync to our new computer but it won't!
  • My Iphone 4s won't keep its charge? Last night I had my phone plugged in all night long, then this morning it only held its charge for about 30 minutes. It only works if it is plugged in and never goes higher than 1% power level. I've double clicked the little round button twice and canceled all the open applications and it's been plugged in for a couple hours now. I really don't want to have to go in to the Apple store, does anyone have any suggestions?
