How long does 1gb data last?

I'm upgrading to iphone and just wondering how long 1gb of data will last

id probably only use it for bbm//whatsapp when i'm out on weekends other than that I have Wi-Fi at home

If that is all you're using it for then it should be good. When you're not using it then you should turn it off. You can do this by going to settings<cellular< then turn off the "cellular data" switch. Also under that it will show how much data you have used. Also a side note 1,024 kilobytes is a megabyte, and 1,024 megabytes is one gigabyte.

Data usage is highly dependent on what apps and services you use. Since you are mainly using messaging apps, 1gb of data will probably last you your monthly cycle as long as you don't send large amounts of pictures and videos.

It really all depends on what you're downloading. Email doesn't take up much bandwidth (if your phone is only checking it every hour) but watching YouTube videos will. You will have to get an app to monitor it.

That should be for about 2-3 months

1GB of internet data does not last long at all with use of BBM and WHATSAPP i can get through a GB in around a week, but thats also listening to youtube and stuff too.

1GB of data could last a month easily, depending on how much you use it really
