How long will it take to reset an iphone and create a new iCloud account?
I need my phone for internet to stay in touch with everyone until I set up this phone and add it to my plan. Just curious how long this will take. It will determine if I will actually get it turned on today or if I'll be re installing all my apps and saving my photos back on this phone. Please help As soon as possible if you have any info or comments.
Also I read that resetting your phone you have to hold down the lock button and mine is broken. However, I have the little circle on my screen that allows me to do everything else the lock button does, I just don't see any option to reset so now i don't know how I'm going to do this… Sigh I need help.

If your lock button is broke and its an older phone, with 5C free on contract why not just get a free upgrade and get brand new again?

- If I create a new iCloud account will it erase my pictures and apps? My friend sold me her old iphone and it's synced to her new one. If I create a new iCloud will it delete all photos, apps, music, etc? Fine, if that's the case for my phone but my other question is if the same will happen to her phone? She would be so upset if her stuff was erased but I need my own account to activate this phone. Plus, it's getting annoying seeing each others pictures pop up randomly. - If I create a new apple account to get another apple free trial what else will be effected? I want to make a new icloud account so i can get another free trial. Yeah, I realize I'm cheap! Can I do this without my texts and photos and stuff like that being affected?
- How to reset your iPhone if you have icloud enabled and forgotten the password to your icloud? So I want to reset my iPhone but I have iCloud enabled in which I have forgotten the password for the iCloud. I had 2 options, to reset my password by email which I can't because I can't log into my current iCloud email so how do I even receive an email? The other option was to answer my security question which I have also forgotten.
