How many volts does a calculator give out?
I need to know how much volts a small calculator can give out to power an iPhone
A calculator runs on 1.5 volts, and you can't power an iPhone using that small amount of power.
I don't know why you'd want to use a calculator though.
Does your calculator have a USB port? If not, you might as well ask how to charge an iPhone by plugging it into a kitty litter box.
A USB port has 5 volts. The voltage must be the correct amount to charge any device, and 5 is the correct amount. The rate of charge and the chance of a current overload message are related to the current, not the voltage. Most USB ports provide about 500mA of current. The solution to current overload is a powered hub.

- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
- Need an iPhone calculator app? On my iPad i have an app called "calculator HD - prettycalc", that has a button where I can add tax to an any total I compute or put in via one button press (able to set the tax rate in the settings). I find this much easier than multiplying any total by my tax rate and then trying to remember the total to add it back on to.So, does anyone know of a iPhone calculator app that has this?
