How Much Does A 2-Year Contract With Verizon Cost?

I found a 29.99$ IPhone on Target's website and I wanted to know how much the contract would cost. This is going to be my first phone, so I have zero experience. Since you can't buy it online it wouldn't say the cost for the contract. Here's a link to the phone I want: http://www.target.com/...Slot=_1_14
It doesn't have to be exact, I just want to have an idea of what I'm getting into. Also, when you purchase the contract does it include anything else, and is anything paid monthly? When the 2-year contract is over, will the phone still call and be able to message or does that go away?

The cost depends on what plan options you take when you buy the phone. Yes you pay for the usage monthly.

Yes the phone would still be able to call/text but usually at that point you are given the option to upgrade to something better, by trading in the phone you would have then.

The fine print…
Price requires New or eligible renewal 2-yr wireless voice agreement with qualifying data plan, credit approval and may require deposit. Subject to carrier agreement terms and conditions. Excludes taxes & surcharges. Subject to activation and early termination fees. Restrictions apply. Monthly access, data, overage, taxes and other charges apply. Price match not valid on mobile phones. 4G in select markets only; defaults to 3G/other network when not available.

Means if you pass the credit check, you pay that bill for 2 years, no excuses, no BS or they cut it off and it will not work on any other service. You have to buy a certain minimum data plan in order to get it for that price. It just goes to month-to-month after the contract is over. Just go to Verizon's store. You'll get the same deal there and the details you need. Best luck.
