How much does an used iPhone 4s worth now?
I have a white 16gb iPhone 4s, used about 4 month and always been in a case, so looks just like new. All the accessaries are included and can be unlocked/jailbroken if nesassery. I wanna get the iphone 5, but not sure if it's worth it.
A lot of my friends are selling their very good condition iPhone 4s for $100
In the current market you will be lucky to SELL it, Due to high demand for the iPhone 5, nobody want's a iPhone 4 or 4S everyone want's the brand new iPhone 5.
Currently a used 16GB iPhone 4S Unlocked (Thats good quality, no marks etc.) would go around for $250 - $450.
In my opinion the iPhone 5 is not worth the money that you will pay for it.

It might have mattered for you to say WHY you want the iPhone5. If a thinner body and 4G speed matters and is worth $200, then the new iPhone 5 is worth it. Honestly I don't know why you need somebody to answer this question for you. But here's my answer: if your current iPhone works, why replace it? Are you going to pay full retail everytime a new smartphone comes on the market (even if just the iPhone)? That's just childish. If you got your last phone with an upgrade, then you've got about 15 months until your next upgrade, and by then, Apple will have released the next generation of iPhone. Is there any reason you need a new phone?
$200 tops. The 4s is now worth what the iphone 4 was last week.

So you've gotten over the shock of yesterday's announcement that there will be no iPhone 5 and have decided you'll settle for the iPhone 4S. There's no reason your iPhone should collect dust alongside your Flip video camera, stacks of CD-Rs, and old phone chargers-maybe you only paid $200 for it, but both the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 are worth a pretty penny these days.
