How much does iPhone 5 cost in USA?
I've got 2 important questions:
will an iphone bought in USA work in europe? Can i just buy it there, take it back home and use my current sim card? I don't know anything about buying phones in another countries, please help
and how much does it cost in USA? My friend is going to florida, i'm thinking of giving him money so he can buy it for me.

The answer is yes, you can use an iphone in another country however you will have really high roaming charges, also you would have to have a cell phone plan with a US carrier.
If you choose to open a cell phone plan the iPhone 5 is 199.00 (i payed 212.00 after taxes) you will have a monthly bill. If you just want to buy the phone i believe it is around 700 or 800 dollars. It is much cheaper to start a cell phone plan and buy the phone. In which case you wouldnt need to worry about putting your simcard in the phone.
also, iphones take a special sim card.
you're better off finding a phone you like wherever you live.
