How much money does it really cost to program an app?
I've used some online calculators to calculate the final cost of creating an app. The result was a bunch of obnoxious, over-inflated prices that were all over $300,000 just to design 13-14 screens for an iPhone.
I find this price absurd… I have no programming knowledge and I'm in need of a person who can develop an slightly complex app.
I designed a nice looking website for about $200 myself… I cut on many unnecessary costs. I looked up the price estimations of making a website and they were all pretty obnoxious too, considering the fact I only spent $200 when some of these websites claim a website costs $30,000 to create.
Could the same be done with an app?

Then just do it yourself for $200 since you seem to be an expert on costs.
You calculate… Well consider this… Wages / taxes / overhead / medical insurance costs / retirement costs / office costs / rent costs… Heck.paper clips / computers / tissues / coffee. All for just the employees add into that the owner of the company who wants a pay check as well… The list goes on…
Do not get me wrong, but I seriously doubt that someone who wants to earn a living and pay their bills ( after going to college ) will create a program an app for you for $200 dollars…
- Is there a program to download MP3s and sync to my iPhone in one program? Like a one stop shop where I can find MP3s of songs I want and can add to a library that will sync to my phone. I'm sick of iTunes. Even a sync program without mp3s works too.
