How much would it cost to replace an iPhone 4S?
So about 10 months ago I dropped and shattered the screen on my iPhone 4S. I went into apple and they said it would cost $199 to replace the entire phone since they are unable to replace the screen. I know many people are able to replace the screen. However I know of people who replaced it and it didn't work as well. I was wondering, now with the iPhone 5 out, would it still cost $199 to replace? Or would it cost $99? Since that is what the iPhone 4S is worth now?
It would probably still cost the same. But I would check with your carrier when you have an upgrade because the new iphone will be $199 with an upgrade, so it may be more worth it.

The iPhone 4S is still $199 to replace. If you aren't too far away from an upgrade, it may be more cost effective for you to wait. You could try one of those shops in the mall that repair screens, but keep in mind, it is a third party repair and may cause issues of its own.
