How much would it cost to upgrade to the iPhone 5?
My iphone 4 contract with sprint isn't over yet but can I still upgrade to the iPhone 5 and how much would I have to pay?
Thats all you have to ask sprint but you'll have to pay the cancellation fee and then purchase a new contract. Its gonna be a huge amount of money though.

You can upgrade but you will have to pay an early termination fee if you leave sprint. If you stay with sprint, you probably will pay more for the iPhone 5.
Check with your provider
If you are staying with Sprint, it's $199 down for the 16gb model, and they just add 24 months to your existing contract, with no difference in monthly plan fees.
