How serious can a kick get if the person has big leg calves?
One of my female friends had kicked a thief in the stomach right fter making an attempt to steal her iPhone, and now this person is coughing up blood after being kicked by a female friend of mine.
She has big leg calves.

If she moves well and follows thru with the kick it may hurt most kicks above the waist don't really do much in most cases they just leave you open to get smashed if you miss. Most of the head kicks I've sen put out most missed and the attacked got hit multiply times after that.
How do you know the thief is throwing up blood did this event actually happen?

Fights happen and sometimes people get floored but it's imperative that you seek medical attention for them.
If they are stealing phones from kids, it's probably to support a drug problem, in which case it is far more likely their bleeding is caused by organs weakened by drug use, and not necessarily your friend's calf muscles.
