How should I listen to a local radio on my iPhone?
The iPhone has never had a tuner circuit built into the phone.
You may listen through browser links on the station website, a station's app, TuneIn Radio app, iHeart radio for others. Each of these generally use Wi-Fi or cellular data plan.
There are bluetooth radio tuners available that clip on or others that may plug into the phone, others include wearable technology - a smart watch with bluetooth connectivity to your phone that has a tuner built-in. The watches can be found on Amazon and other outlets starting around $70, the tuners range from around $20 to over 100.
However, you can buy a low-end portable FM radio with many models available under $25, so really, why spend all that money?

- My iphone shows local weather, and my location is 'appletree'? This is so weird… I wish i could upload a picture. I could explain it in words tho. When I check my weather on my Iphone5 this morning. The name above local weather was 'appletree'. After a while, I checked it again, the name now changed to London ( which is right.) I just wonder what is that appletree? Is it a prank made by apple? BTW, I live in central london, and i'm so sure that, no where near my place is called appletree I have no idea what is caterpillar. Okay so here's the problem this friday, Johnny's House radio morning show will be starting a new segment called: football fridays starting with Deltona High School and my problem is that I'm gonna be in school. That day, I have no way to record it on my iphone well… I was gonna use Tapin Radio to record it but is there an app to record it from your iphone thanks?
