How strong is the Wi-Fi on the iphone 5?

Well, Its not the iPhone Wi-Fi you need to worry about. You need to worry about the Wi-Fi in your house! If it is an average connection, then it will run fine on your iPhone.

In my house, my HTC ONE X can only get one bar in my kitchen, my previous iPhone 4 was able to get 3 bars, and according to a variety of sources, the iPhone 5 has stronger Wi-Fi signal than the previous iPhones. So yes, it should easily have a solid Wi-Fi connection throughout the whole house.
