How to activate iOS 8 Beta 1 on my iPhone?

Now i kinda messed it all up this very morning. I was trying to upgrade my iPhone's OS to iOS 8 Beta 1.
The upgrade process was unsuccessful and it had put my iPhone on the DFU mode and that i should first register my UDID on the Developer Program Portal. I haven't registered my iPhone's UDID though. Now i really don't want to waste my time on first downloading the iOS 7.1.1 firmware for my iPhone. I rather i wanted to know, keeping in mind that my iPhone is still is on the DFU mode, whether i could activate my iPhone successfully after registering my UDID. Would that help?

You absolutely need to register your device's UDID. Then you'll be able to activate without any problems. Most people get it at http://www.udid.in/ for $5. That's how I got it on my iPhone.

First be sure to have your UDID registered with a dev account to even install iOS 8 beta. You can add your UDID using a site such as http://ios5activations.com/

Yeah you would not be able to install and use iOS 8 without a UDID activation, but you are right you wouldn't be able to go back to iOS 7 without DFU mode. There are plenty of great sites for UDID activations or if you have a developer account with apple you may be able to do it yourself and have it good for iOS 9 beta also next year. Hope that helps
