How to activate my old iphone 4 without a sim card?
Ok, so I have an old iphone 4 i want to use as an ipod basically because i have a new iphone. My old sim card is in my new phone and i don't have a sim for my old iphone. I want to just load all of my music onto my old iphone 4 and use it as an ipod but when I try to reset it to factory settings so i can sync it with my itunes library, it says can't activate without sim card. I don't want to use it like a phone, just as an ipod. How do I do that?
Go to a carrier store and ask for a free SIM card. They will give it to you, and you can activate it. Alternatively, take the sim out of your new phone, then put it back in your old phone, activate it, then once you're done with setup, put it back in your new phone.
