How to deactivate/cancel a Walmart Family Mobile service?
I have a phone from Walmart that is on the Family Mobile plan and I'm planning on getting an iphone 4s. I know that the sim cards on the Walmart plans only use regular sims and the iphone 4s takes a micro, I have a cutter and am going to cut the sim card to fit. I'm also going to unlock the phone so that it isn't linked to any carrier and can be used with Walmart Family Mobile. My question though is, can I completely cancel the plan/service I have now? When I get this iphone I would like a completely clean slate, new number, sim card, everything. So is it possible to cancel the service I have and just get a whole new one with the same plan? Sort of like the plan I used to have never existed. I know this sounds kinda sketchy but I just want don't want the number I have now (because I get so many random texts/calls) and just want a fresh start.

You don't need to cut the SIM or cancel your current plan. Family Mobile can change your number for you as well as give you a micro SIM that will fit the 4s.

- Will an Iphone 5s work with walmart family mobile plan? Walmart family mobile is powered by tmobile. And the iphone 5s ships with a tmobile sim. Do i just have to change the sim to a walmart family mobile sim?
- Will a sim cutter work with walmart family mobile? I know that it is not too popular but it is the cheapest for us. I'm thinking about saving my money for a nexus 4 and was wondering if a sim cutter would work (Mini Sim to Micro Sim). - What iPhone 4/4s can use for Walmart family mobile plan? I want to buy a used iPhone 4 or 4s or 5 but I don't know what it needs for me I be able to use it for Walmart plan. How do I know if it will take a SIM card? Does it have to be unlocked? Help me out please! I'm looking for one on amazon
- Walmart family mobile or verizon prepaid? Which one is better? I looked at a my touch smartphone with walmart mobile for only $40 which isn't bad. But then verizon service is better than tmobile. I have an iPhone now and want to switch because the payments but not sure to who.
