How to delete iphone history? - 1

You know when you click on this on your iphone like normal.messages, settings, etc. When you are back at the menu screen and you double click on the circle and the toolbar at the bottom pops up, how do you get ride of what you were looking at? Please help! Thank you!

Added (1). But once you double click the home button, what do you click to get it to delete?

An old trick that works on most phones is simply rubbing a magnet over it a couple of times, the force field causes the history chip to reset.

Get iff of whatever you were looking at then double click the home an delete it

You press down on the apps for 2 seconds and a red circle with a - in it pops up at the top of the app, just press it and it disappears. Doing this will also speed up your iPhone.

When you double click the circle button, the background apps appear. To remove them, click on one of the icons for about 5 seconds (keep your finger on it) then all the icons will start wiggling and a red X sign will appear at the left corner. Press the X sign on all the icons and they'll go away.

PS: Do this regularly to speed up your iPhone.

I got the iOS 7 update and when i double click the home button and the history pops up I can't close them, they don't wiggle nor does a delete symbol appear, how do I get rid of them?

Swipe up to get rid of your app history on your iPhone 5.

IOS 7 users - Finally figured out how to get rid of apps history! Double-tap home button as before. When apps appear at bottom, now a "page" associated with each app apears, in small version, above each app. Swipe the little page up = and THAT is how to close out those apps!
