Go to General menu, find out Accessibility option. Click Accessibility section, scroll down and select Assistive Touch. Toggle the slider to ON. A new button will appear on your screen.
You can replace alternate Home button to any position on the screen that you would like.

Well, it's pointless to have that feature of the phone when you need it
