How to downgrade my iPhone to ios 5?
I recently upgraded my iPhone 4s to ios6 and I really don't like it, mainly because of the new maps and youtube app. Is there anyway to downgrade to ios5?
Not that I've found. I tried for a week using tips from the net. I downloaded the previous OS from oldversion.com, used several procedures, and never got it to work.
Google has a new map app that is just like the old one.
Go to The Internet and search for iOS 5 for your iPhone then Download it somewhere you can find it again and open iTunes and press restore + shift at the same time it will come up with your documents find the file you saved and open it.iOS 5 will be back
Yes. Google search the iOS version you want (iOS 5.1.1 is the latest for iOS 5) download it for your iPhone. Open iTunes, right click your iPhone in the left and click back up. Once done, click Transfer Purchases. Once finished, hold down Shift, and click Restore. Find your iOS 5 file and restore to that. Yay! You have an iOS 5 iPhone!
(If you have an iPhone 5, I doubt it will work, it's only for 3.5 inch screens, so it will either brick it (freeze it) or your screen will look really weird)
