How to find something important you lost?
I have 6 hours to find my moms iPhone because I lost it in the house after having a party, while my parents' were gone.
I know friends are a possibility but I don't wanna make that accusation yet.
I'm probably that family member, they'd eat to survive if there was ever an apocalypse. IT Really SUCKS TO BE BOW RIGHT NOW: p
I don't know the number and I don't want anyone to know I lost it yet. Not without trying to find it.
Retrace your steps. Think back slowly. Imagine what you did that day and go over it again and again. It always work for me.
Does the iPhone have the app where you can trace where it is? If not, try calling each of your friend. Don't sound too blatant, just ask if they saw an iPhone lying around just now. Have you checked under the couch? Or in the toilet even?

1) You did your mom a favor, iphones are garbage made by a company who rips off the fake elitists for exclusive hardware and constrained software.
2) This is what happens when you do irresponsible things. Man up and face the music; let your mom know and take the punishment like a man. Also, learn to respect your parents house, go get a job and buy your own place if you want to have parties.
3) The only hope you have is to search every inch of the house (without calling the phone) and hope that it just got knocked into a couch or something. However, there's a 99.7% chance that one of your "friends" stole it.
Call it.
If the phone is on, dial the number The ring will tell you where it is.
If it's off, get someone, any one, to help you look. It takes 2 people to find things. Sounds weird, but it's true. Try it.
And finally if you had it in your hands your body knows where it is. Calm down and let your intuition lead you to where you put it!
This all sounds woo-woo but it works.
Your mom finds everything. Tell her it's someone else's that looks like hers than while she's not looking put her iPhone back somewhere else
Make sure you check the pockets of all your coats and jackets, cupboards, fridges and shelves underneath chairs, down the back of skirting boards, behind tables or dressers, bathroom, check all your bags, handbags, gym bag, briefcase.
Now if any of your friends use drugs then you already know what happened to your mum mobile don't you.
For iPhones there's a "Track your iPhone" app. You'll need the apple ID and password that the phone is registered to however… Don't know if you have that.
Just… Look under sofas and beds. Maybe someone really did take it?
- Lost iPhone containing important phone number what can I do? I lost an iPhone a few weeks ago that contained a very important phone number of mine. Sadly I didn't back up my device and don't use iCloud. Would there be any way of retrieving that phone number? Or am I screwed?
- Is it important for you to have a smart phone/ iphone? Could you go a month without it? I'm going back to a flip phone myself for a number of reasons. Could this work for you too?
