How to Fix A Disabled Iphone when the power button doesn't work?
I have a iphone 3g and it has 6, 000, 000 minutes disabled, which is more than a year! I see some tutorials but they need the power button! Guys I really need some help.
Here's a workaround:
1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility.
2. Scroll near the bottom and you'll see an option called AssistiveTouch. Turn that on.
3. You'll see a rather ugly white circle floating on the screen. Tap that to get to your "lock button."
If you're on a jailbroken device download Activator and then access its settings in Settings > Activator to setup some other way to emulate your lock button.
- Will Apple replace my iPhone 4S if the power button doesn't work? All of a sudden the power button (at the top on the right) of my fairly new (got it about a year ago) iPhone 4S doesn't work. I don't know what happened. Will they replace it for free? Oh and I didn't buy the insurance or whatever.
