How to get a movie from my iPhone to my computer?
So a few days ago i bought a movie on my iPhone to watch on a long car ride. To do this deleted a few apps to make some room. Now that I'm back from my trip I would like the movie off of my iPhone and on my computer but I have no idea how to do that. The movie is taking up all the room on my iPhone and I would like to use that space for other things, like pictures. So my question is, how can I get the movie I purchased from my iPhone to my computer.
Plug it into iTunes>Uncheck that movie>sync. Its that simple.
You can't, Apple sucks like that. You can't take anything out of it. If you purchased it on iTunes then you should be able to just get it via iTunes on your computer. If you downloaded it illegally (let me know when apple products can start doing direct downloads) then you can't. Simple as that, no storage to access it from. It's pretty much locked to iTunes.
Plug your phone into itunes. In the file menu option choose transfar purchases from my iphone. Then your movie will be backup in your itunes. Then remove it from your phone
Open iTunes on your PC/Mac
Go to The iTunes Store
on The sidebar it should say "Purchased" (If your signed in)
Click Movies and Walla! Should be Self Explanatory from there
- When you buy a movie on itunes does it go to your computer? (i have windows 7)? I'm fairly new to itunes and i have no idea how it works. Does it go to your itunes and if it does can you move it to your desktop and then burn it on a DVD? oh and i don't have apple computer or ipod or iphone or i-whatever. My aunt gave me itunes giftcard and the only thing i'd want to do with it is buy movies cuhz i don't want to buy music.
- What movie player should i use to view my iphone 4 videos on the computer? I have QuickTime 7.7.3 now and when I go to play a video the sound has an echo to it and the video just keeps starting and stopping most of the time. Should I upgrade to QuickTime 7.4 or just use a different player?
- Sync a rented iTunes movie from iPhone to computer? I rented a movie from iTunes earlier today on my iPhone and I was wondering if there was any way to put it onto my computer to watch it. I know I only have 30 days to watch it. I tried to sync my phone like normal and it didn't put the movie on my PC.
- My computer won't play movies on movie sites? I just got a new computer and the site I always go on to watch movies is called losmovies. I watch a lot of movies on that site and my computer doesn't even give me an option to play the movie. On my old computer it worked fine. It even works on my iPhone.
