How to get Sharpie off my iPhone 5?
Hi, so recently I got the iPhone 5. My Mum wrote my name and home phone number on the back, and I'm so angry! It took me ages to save for it, so how do I get it off? If it helps, the Sharpie is pink.
Have you tried using water carefully? If not This is what I do and it will probably work on an iPhone. J take a black expo whiteboard marker and color over it then wipe it off. The Sharpie will come off.

It's Sharpie, right? Take some nail polish remover or a thinner on cotton and try. That will surely help. Water won't do any good, besides it might brick your phone if you do anything carelessly. You can also try alcohol. Make sure you hold the phone tilted when doing it so the liquid will just flow off the phone if not evaporated. Use small quantity.
First: soak in soap and water for approximately 20 minutes
Two: Take a Brillo pad and scrub as affectively as possibly on front and back
Three: Take a can of windex and spray into both headphone and charging jack. DO NOT wipe up the windex.
Four: Get into a voodoo circle and slip the wrist of each member.
Five: Mix the blood with a cup of horse *** to make a vibrant pink.
Six. Drink half of mixture and spit it onto the iPhone 5 like a water fountain.
Seven: The testosterone in this mixture should effectively remove the substance from the electronic that you have saved up money for.

Olivia Grace probably has the most accurate answer on removing the Sharpie. My teacher used to write on her white board with sharpie, and then traced over it with one of those dry erase markers and scrubbed it down with water, of course though you should be careful.
I wouldn't use alcohol/nail polish if its the black version of the iPhone 5, it may remove the black paint off of it, and that'll make your phone look even worse.
But look on the bright side, now no one will attempt to steal your iPhone I suppose? LOL.
