Why would you want to open it up to viruses? Makes no sense to me.
Easy, first find out what version of iOS you have. If you have 9.1+, you won't be able to jailbreak right now, you'll have to wait for pangu or taig to release their tools.
After you know what iOS you have from Settings/General/About you can look for the proper jailbreak tool, if I remember correctly for iOS 9.0 you can use pangu, for 8.4 you can use taig and 8.1 taig as well. For iOS 7 and 6 I believe there's evasion 7 and 6.
Depends on which iPhone you have & what version of iOS it is running.
