How to jailbreak my iPhone 3G without a computer?
I have an iPhone 3G and I hate my version of 4.2.1. I can't install all the apps. How can I jailbreak it without a computer. It is NOT the 3GS.
You can't do it without a computer, it is impossible. Jailbreaking is so you can install 3rd party apps and tweaks, to get the jailbreak installer onto your phone it would need to be able to install 3rd party apps which it can't do without a jailbreak. Do you see the problem here? It's an endless loop of failures as to jailbreak from your phone you need a jailbreak.
The ONLY way is to download the jailbreak tool on your computer, plug your phone in and jailbreak it that way.

Try jailbreakme if it does help. I have an iphone 3g but I jailbreak it using computer. If apps is your problem then install whited0or in your iphone 3g same as mine and it helps you alot because it has an apptimemachine or the old appstore.
