You can't unless you are on firmware 3.1.x, 4.0.x, 4.3.1, 4.3.2, or 4.3.3.
If you are on any of these firmwares than you can search for jailbreakme.com method.
BTW you won't be on these firmwares unless you have a iPhone 4, iTouch 4g, iPad, or iPad 2 you haven't ever updated or has been a long time. Any newer devices (iPhone 4S and newer) won't be able to run this firmware since it came out before they were made.
