You know if the Wi-Fi is off on your settings but if you have a sim put your phone on airplane mode ANC if can use no internet anxd when you want to use if again turn if off airplane mode.
You're never really off using data on an iPhone. Ever. If you have push notifications, emails pushed to you, texts, FB updates to your notification center, whatever, then it's using data to send you that stuff. So even though you aren't using Safari or other data hog apps, you are still using data. Only way to ever shut it all off is put the phone in airplane mode or cut off cellular data switch. Best luck.
You can just turn off the internet in settings if it makes life easier
If you take off Wi-Fi as well as cellular data (1G-4G) then you are completely off the internet. To the right of the carrier name is where you'd see what connection you are using. If nothing is there then you aren't on a connection.

- IPhone 6s plus or 7 plus. I know the prices and what they do. But what I wanted to know is Did the 7 fix the home button problem? That s my main worry. I use my phone to text, check facebook, candy crush, look up info, and take the odd picture… Will I notice the difference between the two phones to be willing to pay more for the 7?
