How to make Apple replace your broken iPhone?
My dad bought a used iPhone 4s from a store that resells used stuff. Today the phone fell and the screen cracked. It still works though, but the screen is now a yellowish color. How can you make Apple replace/repair the phone for free? (If its even possible)
I feel like stabbing myself with a knife because I wasted my father's money because i broke the phone and I hate myself.
Apple can't fix broken/scratched screens unless it was like that when you bought it, they also can't replace it for free if you broke it. You have to pay to get it fixed or buy a new one.
I found the prices to get it fixed/replaced… It might have changed though.
- Out of warranty iPhone 4 repairs are now $149 (down from $199)
- Out of warranty iPhone 4S repair is $199
- Applecare+ "damage due to handling" is $49 (limit 2)
- If the Genius decides it's a warranty-covered issue, it's free.
A girlfriend of mine use to have iphone 5 it got broken and she paid $100 to have it replaced with a less older version. Iphone 4
Its still a very incredible iphone.
Thats ehy i don't use the iphone you pay 150 month and it cost $800 the buy it. Then they break… I use samsung or sony those last a life time and the only flaw to them are light cosmetic wearing. Doesn't effect it one bit!
I can't imagine why anyone could imagine that Apple would do such a thing. If you wrecked your second hand Mustang, would you expect Ford to replace it? Grow up.
If it has accident damage insurance your good.
You aren't going to "make" someone do anything, they have rules they have to follow like any business does. They will fix it but probably have a charge for it, next time learn to take better care of it and if you can't avoid dropping it then get a large case around it to protect it (which to means takes away the advantage of having it slim and small for the pocket, but I'm carefull never to drop it)
