How to make your number seem disconnected without disconnecting?
I have an iPhone and I know I can block numbers simply from my device. I know when you block a number this way they can text and call as usual but it won't go through to my phone. IIm just curious to know if there's any way I can permanently block someone so it's as if I have changed number or disconnected my phone. I don't want this certain person thinking I'm getting their calls or messages I want them to think that I don't have the number anymore at all. Is this possible? Without changing my number.
That can't be done, only way to do that is to change your number.
- Why can my iPhone text other iPhones when my phone is disconnected? Today around 10am my iPhone got disconnected (hadn't paid my bill yet), I went to text my aunt (who doesn't have an iPhone) and the messages wouldn't send, 30 minutes later I texted my friend who does have an iPhone and I could successfully send and receive messages. And as of 9hr later, I was able to text another person with an iPhone. What's up with this? Not complaining or anything, just curious why it's happening.

- What happens if you text and call a disconnected number from an iPhone? I'm trying to figure out if someone's number has been disconnected. When I call it says your call can't be completed as dialed no matter what phone I call from. When I text from my iPhone it appears that the text was sent and I don't get an error invalid message and the text doesn't turn red. Could this just mean that incoming calls are not working for this person?
- Is there a device so that when my iphone rings, I can make it ring the old landline phone in my house? The landline is disconnected btw? I have an old fashioned/antique 2 piece wall phone that works, but I'm disconnecting land line service. So is there a device I can plug my iPhone into when at HOME, that will allow this old phone to also ring when I get a call on my iphone? I don't need the old phone to ring unless I'm at home with iphone plugged into this device, if any such device exists?
